Traditional Ceilidh band – The original approach.



Will and his Ceilidh band have played together for many years and are well known on the Scottish dance band circuit. The band usually operate as a three piece (accordion, keys and drums) with the option to include a fiddle. The band play strict tempo Scottish country dances such as the Dashing White Sergeant, Gay Gordon’s, Strip the Willow and all the old favourites. Will is a skilled dance caller and will encourage guests to participate and walk them through each dance in a light hearted manner, ensuring everyone has enough knowledge to participate even if they have never Ceilidh danced before. The overall effect creates a fun and exciting atmosphere.
The band always strive to enjoy themselves as much as their audience. Will uses a Nexo PS8 sound system which is famed for its clear high quality sound, this guarantees hearing the band at its best.
